Relax on the white leather sofa and put your feet up on the ottoman while you enjoy a movie on the 42″ HD Samsung television with basic cable, HBO and DVD player. Connect your own Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu and Pandora accounts to the smart television. During the day you’ll enjoy the sunlight that streams in through the glass front door and sunroom door. In the evening, put a few logs on the wood stove and snuggle up.
The kitchen is the beating heart of this home, connecting to the living and dining areas as well as the back patio. Spacious enough for friends to linger, and well supplied for those who love to cook: dishwasher, microwave, Kitchenaid, blender, food processor, toaster oven, coffee maker, and cappuccino machine. The walk-in pantry provides plenty of room to stock up on food and supplies.
The dining room is an eye-catching place to gather with friends and enjoy a meal. The metallic turquoise paint is lively, and the vintage sputnik-inspired light fixture shows off the vaulted ceilings. The dining table seats 8 comfortably.
The recently remodeled bathroom has a spa-like feel, with sleek cabinets, tall mirrors, double sinks and beautiful tile. The towels are soft and fluffy, and there are plenty of them.
Up the stairs you’ll find the large master bedroom. With it’s vaulted ceiling and 10 – yes 10! – windows, you may feel as though you’re sleeping among the tree tops. Don’t be surprised if you catch a glimpse of the moon outside a window. A large desk provides ample space to sit down to write or work on a computer. Peruse one of the many leather-bound volumes of classic literature. You’ll get a great night’s sleep on the comfortable queen bed.
This serene space looks out onto the front garden, and is a comfortable spot to turn in for the night. The interior brick wall and vaulted ceiling add character. Double bed sleeps two.
This colorful, charming room was decorated with kids in mind. The woodland theme in the hand painted dresser and Pottery Barn bedding will put young travelers right at ease. There are a variety of books and toys on the shelves. The vaulted ceilings and high southern-facing window bring in light and cheer. The double bed is large enough for two and quite comfortable. Extra linens and blankets are stored in the drawers under the bed. We also have a pack n play on hand for wee ones, as well as bath toys, children’s books and a selection of toys.
Just off the living room is a small sunroom, where you can look out onto the garden and perhaps read a book. Here’s where we’ve stashed a supply of games, toys and books. It can also serve as a small playroom for children.
The reliable washer/dryer are located in the basement.
